With GOL’s partners, you travel farther.

GOL set up partnerships with several airlines in Brazil and around the world so that you can travel farther and farther. With these partnerships, you have many more advantages and can travel even farther, whether you are flying to one of GOL’s destinations or to anywhere throughout the five continents served by our partner airlines.

A Codeshare contract allows customers to fly aboard an aircraft operated by another company as if they were on a fight operated by their preferred airline.

At present, GOL has Codeshare agreements with the following airlines:

A GOL partner since 2013, the Italian airline operates flights to Rome and various destinations in Brazil.

A partner since 2010, the airline operates flights to over 350 destinations in 70 countries.

The airline, whose hub is in Panama, has been a partner since 2005.

This airline, which has been a GOL partner airline since 2014, flies to over 120 destinations and has integrated its loyalty program, Etihad Guest, with the Smiles program.

The French airline has been a GOL partner since 2009 and is a member of the Smiles and Flying Blue mileage programs.

Signed an agreement with GOL in 2015 that includes integrating Smiles and SkyPass, Korean Air’s loyalty program.

Signed an agreement with GOL in 2014. The leading Mexican airline, AeroMexico flies to major destinations in the United States, Canada, Central and South America, Europe and Asia.

In March 2015, GOL announced a partnership with Canada’s largest airline.

The leading airline in the Netherlands has been a GOL partner since 2009 and is a member of the Smiles and Flying Blue mileage programs.

Since 2011 GOL has been a partner of the airline from the nation of Qatar.

This partnership, which began in 2014, allows both companies to offer flights to over 119 domestic and international destinations.

The Portuguese airline became a GOL partner airline in 2014, integrating its loyalty program with the Smiles program.


A Codeshare agreement allows a flight operated by an airline to have many different flight numbers, for each passenger who will fly on the partner airlines. This way, clients can travel normally as if they were on their preferred airline’s flight, but may actually be flying on an airplane belonging to another company, on Codeshare.

Since 2005, GOL has maintained a Codeshare agreement with Copa Airlines (Panama). In April 2009, GOL signed a commercial agreement with the Air France/KLM group, which includes a Codeshare partnership and integration between the Smiles (GOL) and Flying Blue (Air France/KLM) mileage programs.

In 2010, it was time to announce a similar agreement with Delta Air Lines, which allowed GOL to extend its network to 350 destinations in 70 countries, on six continents. The partnership also includes mileage accrual and redeeming in the Smiles and SkyMiles programs. In January 2011, GOL signed a Codeshare and frequent flyer deal with Qatar Airways, from the State of Qatar.

The year 2013 saw GOL sign a contract with Alitalia, an airline that operates over 14 weekly flights from Rome to Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, also integrating the MilleMiglia relationship program with our own.

In May 2011, GOL signed a Codeshare agreement with Aerolineas Argentinas. Together, both companies fly to over 119 domestic and international destinations. Additionally, the agreement includes the benefits offered by the GOL and Aerolineas Argentinas frequent flyer programs: Smiles and Aerolineas Plus, respectively.

And in August of that year, it was time to sign with Aeromexico, the largest Mexican airline. In addition to the partnership with the Club Premier mileage program, the company operates at the most important destinations in the United States, Canada, Central and South America, Europe and Asia.

In September 2014 and November 2014, GOL set up a Codeshare agreement with Etihad and TAP, respectively. The agreement also includes the Smiles mileage program, as well as the mileage programs of Etihad and TAP.

In January 2015, GOL signed an agreement with Korean Air, an airline that flew 23 million passengers in 2013. Today, Korean Air flies to 45 countries and has partnerships with 29 airlines at 188 destinations around the world. The agreement includes integrating Smiles and SKYPASS, the Korean airline’s loyalty program.

In March 2015, GOL announced it was forming a new partnership with Air Canada, Canada’s largest airline and a member of the Star Alliance. The airline serves approximately 35 million passengers each year and flies to over 175 destinations on five continents.

An interline agreement allows passengers to reserve flights with two or more partner airlines to travel an itinerary that includes cities to which one of the airlines does not fly. This way, the passenger only checks in once and his luggage is automatically directed to his final destination, with the baggage allowance as described on the passenger’s ticket.

To travel to the United States, you can purchase tickets on the GOL website and fly with our partner Delta Air Lines. Now, destinations like Atlanta, New York, Detroit and many others are much more accessible to you. Customers can also purchase tickets for flights with Aerolíneas Argentinas, KLM and Air France on GOL’s website and visit Europe on flights operated by partner airlines KLM and Air France.

To travel to other international destinations, visit the websites of our partner airlines and issue your ticket. If you have a stopover in Brazil, the flight will be operated by GOL and you’ll be entitled to an international baggage allowance at no additional cost.
