This service is only valid for domestic flights.
Passengers may check-in from 24 hours before the flight up to one and a half hours before takeoff.
Children under 12 who traveling alone are not allowed to check-in.
When boarding, passengers must show a valid photo ID - either the original or an authenticated photocopy. This must be the same document provided at the time of check-in.
Foreign customers must have a valid passport.
According to ANAC’s ordinance 676/GCS art. 17, passengers who no show for boarding or who are not present at the scheduled time will forfeit their seats to passengers on waiting lists.
Online check-in guarantees boarding as long as the passenger(s) arrive at the gate up to 40 minutes prior to takeoff. After that time the passenger(s) will be deemed as a no show and possible fees or fare differences will apply.
Starting on the 28th week of pregnancy, women must speak to a Gol representative to fill out the Responsibility Declaration form and to have their medical certificates authorizing travel verified.
Starting on the 37th week of pregnancy until the 39th week, women must speak to a Gol representative to complete the Responsibility Declaration form, and they must be accompanied by the doctor in charge.
Starting on the 40th week of pregnancy, women cannot board, except for unavoidable medical requirements. In such cases, women must speak to a Gol representative in the company of an obstetrician to complete the Responsibility Declaration form.
Customers who check-in online and have baggage to check must come to a baggage check-in counter 50 minutes before the flight’s scheduled takeoff.
BAGGAGE WEIGHT
Excess luggage fees must be paid directly at the baggage check-in counters at the time of delivery. The maximum weight allowed per passenger, even with excess luggage fees, is 70Kg (including the 23Kg allowance). Baggage exceeding the allowance must be transported as Cargo. The baggage allowance does not include the transport of live animals of any size, or sporting equipment.
Customers without baggage or with carry-on only who check-in online must go to the boarding gate up to 30 minutes before the flight, and present the same document used for check-in.
Passengers, including those making connections, must have a Gol representative tag their carry-on luggage at the airport.
Baggage may not contain sharp, pointy, flammable or explosive items.
