What do I do if I have excess baggage?
The baggage that exceeds the allowed weight limits will be considered excess. It can be transported, but there will be an additional charge. On domestic flights, each excess kg will incur a charge of 0.5% of the full fare (Y) fare for the segment, and on international flights each kg of excess baggage will incur a surcharge of 1% of the full fare (Y) fare for the segment - and the baggage may be sent as unaccompanied cargo on another flight. An excess of over 70 kg (154 lbs) must be transported as cargo and not as baggage. In the event of excess baggage over 70 kg (154 lbs), please contact the GOL Online Customer Service for more information. Or call Gollog customer service at 0300 101 2001. For more information on luggage, allowances and restricted objects, see the Packing option under Travel Worry-Free.
