Dogs and cats are allowed on all domestic and international flights operated by GOL. The animal must be at least six months old and, for transport in the cargo hold, the weight of the pet plus the carrier must be between 10 and 30 kg;
The transport of animals other than dogs and cats is not permitted. In these cases, GOLLOG, GOL's cargo service, must be consulted regarding the possibility of transport;
GOL does not transport short-nosed dogs and cats in the cargo hold due to the characteristics of their respiratory system. Check with your trusted veterinarian to ensure that the animal does not fall into this category, guaranteeing comfort and safety during transport. If you have any questions about permitted breeds, please contact GOL;
GOL reserves the right to refuse boarding to animals in carriers that do not meet the required standards and may pose a risk to the animal's health and interfere with flight safety;
Some countries have restrictions and/or seasonal vaccination requirements for transporting animals. Therefore, it is essential to consult the consulate and health authorities of the destination country before your trip;
There are restrictions on the number of animals on each flight, so it is important to schedule the service in advance;
Animal transport is an optional service and ancillary to passenger transport;
In case of flight rescheduling at the passenger's request, the transfer of the animal to the new flight is not automatic. The transfer must be requested by the passenger and is subject to the availability of the service on the new flight;
In cases of flight changes due to weather or operational reasons (involuntary changes), GOL provides accommodation and assistance in accordance with ANAC Resolution 400, on flights where the service is available;
In case of no-show for boarding, cancellation of the reservation or non-use of the service, the passenger may request a refund of the amount paid for pet transport;
Cancellation of the service is available by phone at 0800 704 0465 or in person at the airports.
No mileage accrual is granted for this service;
The pet transport service in the checked baggage compartment is not accepted on connecting flights with other airlines.
Check-in through GOL's digital channels is not permitted for passengers traveling with a pet and must be done two hours in advance for domestic flights and three hours in advance for international flights;
The pet must have all necessary documentation within its validity period;
The pet service in the cargo compartment is not accepted on codeshare and interline flights (flights with GOL partners).
For flights to or from Miami, Orlando, Punta Cana, Bogotá, Aruba, Costa Rica, and Cancún, with connecting flights with other airlines and routes with two or more connections, the service is not available.
