General recommendations regarding the transport crate
Your pet should be placed in a carrier with internal dimensions appropriate to its size, allowing it to stand up and turn around (360° rotation).
Permitted dimensions for the rigid transport box for transport in the cabin.

To ensure your pet's well-being during the trip, the carrier should:
  • Made of durable fiberglass or plastic, with latches that prevent the animal from escaping. Transport crates made of wood, straw, or other fragile materials that do not ensure the pet's safety are not accepted;
  • Have small side openings for air intake and circulation;
  • Have latches that prevent accidental opening, internally or externally;
  • Have an internal floor lined with or provided with a material that absorbs the animal's urine and feces, preventing leakage during transport;
  • Be delivered to GOL completely clean, disinfected, and sterilized, preventing contamination of the animal itself and third parties.
  • We recommend that the transport crate be identified with the flight reservation code (locator), as well as the name, address, and telephone number of the passenger responsible for transporting the pet.

How to check in with your pet:

Check-in for travel with your pet must be done exclusively at the GOL service counter. To ensure greater peace of mind, it is important that you arrive in advance:

  • Two hours for domestic flights;
  • Three hours for international flights.

This timeframe is necessary so that you can present all the necessary documentation for your pet to travel safely.
