To request special services, contact the telephone customer service center of each airline operating the flight segments. Please note that some services may not be available on flights operated by another airline. Communicate with the telephone customer service center.
Assistance requests for passengers with special needs must be made by booking the ticket or at least 72 hours before departure. For flights originating in Brazil, requests for special assistance, such as wheel lifts, can be made at least 48 hours before departure.
Unaccompanied minors
Children under 16 years of age cannot travel without a companion.
Babies
Babies aged 1 year and 11 months pay 10% of the adult fare, but must travel under the care of a responsible adult over 18 years old. A baby is only allowed in the water for a period of time.
Pregnant women
See below the guidelines for embarrassed women traveling with Air Canada:
- Under 30 weeks of travel: Consult your doctor and confirm that traveling by plane is appropriate for your general health status.
- Embarrassment of more than 30 weeks or at risk (at any time): Written authorization from your doctor is required. Present this certificate at the time of invoicing.
The certificate must authorize your trip in writing, considering the destination of your flight and the duration of the trip. You must complete an Air Canada form when invoicing.
