Carry-on Baggage rules
Please review all carry-on baggage rules in the terms and conditions.

Regarding items carried on board

To avoid issues when traveling, it's essential to know in advance what you can and cannot bring in your carry-on baggage. It's also important to know which items require prior authorization from GOL.

Non-standard items with specific dimensions or characteristics, such as sports equipment, musical instruments, TVs, monitors, boxes, and packaging, must be checked as special baggage.

Liquids on International Flights

For international flights, the transport of liquids, aerosols, and gels must follow ANAC (Brazilian Civil Aviation Agency) rules for carry-on baggage, where:

  • Container capacity: all liquids, gels, and aerosols (such as perfumes, creams, and sprays) must be in containers with a maximum capacity of 100 ml each.
  • Volume limit: even if the container is only partially full, if the original packaging has a capacity of more than 100 ml, it will not be allowed in the cabin.
  • Plastic bag: the containers must be placed inside a transparent, resealable plastic bag. This bag can have a maximum capacity of 1 liter.
  • Quantity: each passenger is allowed to carry only one (1) plastic bag with liquids.

Only products purchased in duty-free shops may exceed this limit, provided they are in the sealed packaging provided by the store.

Note: when going through security screening, you must present the plastic bag separately from your carry-on baggage for inspection.

There are exceptions for the transport of liquids, such as prescription medications, baby food, and liquids for special diets. These items must be presented at the time of inspection.
