Have you already bought your flight ticket?

While logged in, got to “My Reservations”, and click on “Cars”. You can use your reservation number or the email address you used to register on the site. Then click on “Reserve a car”.

Your miles will be credited within five days after your return flight. Only the daily car rental price is considered for the purposes of accruing miles. You cannot request retroactive credit of your miles for car rentals.

To rent a car from Localiza, you must be at least 21 years old and have had your license for at least two years.

The partnership benefits are nontransferable and are valid only for the GOL passenger who makes the reservation.

Car rentals are subject to credit approval and compliance with the general vehicle rental conditions, which you can find at a Localiza store or website.

You can authorize other people to drive the vehicle you have rented, as long as they meet Localiza's prerequisites. For each new driver, another R$ 7 is charged per day.

In Brazil, rented vehicles may be returned at any Localiza store. The return fee is R$ 15 (between branches in the same city) and R$ 1.20 per km between the origin and destination cities plus toll charges (if applicable).

For vehicles picked up and returned at downtown stores, a fee of 5% of the total value of the contract will apply. For vehicles picked up or returned at airport and bus terminal stores, the fee is 12%.

Add-ons like GPS devices, infant car seats, insurance and extra drivers need to be requested via Localiza's call center or when picking up your vehicle.

Category T (armored) and J (vans) vehicles are not confirmed when the reservation is made. Localiza will contact the client to confirm availability.

The GOL website is only used to make the reservation. Payment is handled at the Localiza counter when picking up the vehicle.

Discounts and promotions are non-cumulative.

  • Each car rental day is considered to be 24 hours, with a 1-hour grace period for returns. After the 25th hour, late fees will apply at 1/5 of the daily rate for each additional hour, including the hour of the grace period.
  • We guarantee reservations for up to 1 hour after the scheduled pick-up time, provided the store is not scheduled to close first.
  • For reservations that are not cancelled at least 12 hours before the vehicle's scheduled pick-up time, we will charge a no-show fee equivalent to one day of the daily rate for the reserved vehicle.
  • In the event that the model reserved is unavailable, rental reservations may be honored with another model in the same category or a superior category.
  • Em caso de furto, roubo, incêndio e colisão, são obrigatórios a apresentação do Boletim de Ocorrência e o preenchimento do Aviso de Sinistro na Localiza.
  • In the event of theft, burglary, fire or collision, you must present an Incident Report (Boletim de Ocorrência) and fill out a Claim Notification at Localiza.
  • For rentals lasting 7 days or longer, you will be required to pay in advance.
  • Rented vehicles may be returned at any Localiza store.

The cost of the return fee is:

  • R$15.00 between branches in the same city.
  • Vehicles are cleaned before they are released to the customer. If a car is returned excessively dirty, beyond normal, reasonable limits, Localiza will charge the following fees:
    • Basic wash – R$20.00.
    • Deep cleaning – R$120.00 plus at least 1 day's rental fee for the vehicle.
  • Fees: 12% of the total contract cost for vehicles picked up and returned at Downtown locations, 12% for vehicles picked up and/or returned at bus terminal locations, and 12% for vehicles picked up and/or returned at airport locations.
  • Prices are listed in Reals, are valid only in Brazil, and may change without notice.
  • The general conditions of the vehicle rental and insurance contract are available to clients at Localiza branches.
  • Discounts and promotions are non-cumulative and are valid only for the Unlimited Mileage rate.
  • This benefit is not yet available for Smiles reservations.

  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • Have had your driver's license for at least two years.
