GOL: 18 years of history
18 years ago, Brazilians embraced a new way of flying. Since then, more than 450 million people have traveled on around 3.8 million GOL flights. To return the affection, we fulfilled the wish of a young man who is passionate about aviation and who dreams of becoming a pilot. That's how Gustavo, who also turned 18, flew for the first time by plane and can still see behind the scenes of our way of flying.
Expansion of the in-flight service
That year we had great partnerships to make our free onboard service even more special. We serve a Happy Hour with Johnny Rockets hamburgers in the FOR-SSA, SSA-CGH, SSA-FOR and CGH-SSA sections. In addition, every Monday and Tuesday flight, on the CGH-SDU and CGH-BSB airlifts, passengers have the opportunity to eat a warm cheese roll stuffed from Catupiry.
Architectural Accessibility Seal
The Municipal Secretariat for People with Disabilities, of the São Paulo City Hall, recognizes GOL for the innovative access ramp project, used for remote boarding and disembarkation at Congonhas airport. The Seal certifies that the equipment complies with accessibility standards for people with disabilities and reduced mobility.

GOL appears as the only airline on the list of companies that Brazilians dream of working for on LinkedIn Top Companies 2019, underlining the pride of belonging to the Eagle Team.
Official sponsor of the Copa América
GOL is the official sponsor of the 2019 Copa América and carries all the teams during the sporting event, including the cup. There are more than 50 chartered flights to take teams and technical staff to the championship games. Various actions are taken with Customers to cheer up the crowd.
Check-in with imprint on the soda can
The special action for the CONMEBOL Copa América Brazil 2019 is a pioneer in the world, and allows the company's customers to personalize their boarding pass at Congonhas Airport, in a can of Guaraná Antarctica.
Gal in GRU
GOL launches the first service robot in Latin America, the materialization of its virtual assistant Gal, which provides assistance to the Company's customers traveling through Guarulhos Airport, in São Paulo.

GOL announces a new business unit, specialized in maintenance, repairs, revisions of aircraft and components: GOL Aerotech. Located at Confins airport in Minas Gerais, the new MRO offers services to airlines from all over the world.
SafetyPay and Caixa partnership
Now customers without a bank account or credit card can buy tickets and make payments at lottery stores and branches of Caixa Econômica.
New route to Lima
Expansion of international operations with the start of regular operations to Lima, Peru. This is the Company's 15th destination outside Brazil, with daily flights departing from Guarulhos airport in São Paulo to the Peruvian capital.
15 years of operations in Argentina
GOL celebrates 15 years of operations and direct connections between Argentina and Brazil, with more than 12 million passengers transported and more than 77 weekly flights to the country.
