Pre Order
As of April of this year, passengers now have the option of guaranteeing their meal on board in advance when purchasing a ticket. More comfort, convenience and special discounts.

Lions in Cannes
GOL was the only Brazilian airline to win awards at the 71st edition of the Cannes Film Festival, the largest advertising festival held annually in France. The “Neymar Time” campaign was responsible for winning two Silver Lions and two Bronze Lions. In addition, GOL was the first airline to win in different categories in the same year.

Launch of the new GOL app
Seeking to give more life to clients' time, GOL launched in August, a personal assistant fully connected to the user's needs. The app has personalized alerts that follow every stage of the traveler, the possibility of checking in directly from the smartphone, and much more.

In 2018, the Boeing 737 MAX 8 landed at GOL. Considered one of the most modern aircraft in the world, it is equipped with cutting-edge technology, which offers greater flight range and also provides opportunities for opening new destinations, such as direct routes between Brazil and the USA. In addition, it offers a reduction of approximately 15% in fuel consumption and in the emission of polluting gases.

Flights to MIA/MCO
With takeoffs from Brasilia and Fortaleza, GOL announced new direct flights to Miami and Orlando, in the United States, which began operations on November 4. The arrival of the 737 MAX 8 aircraft, modern and equipped with the latest generation technology, enabled the start of the new international route, which offers the best travel experience for customers.

Presentation of the new brand
To celebrate the connection and closeness it has with its customers, GOL announced the brand's new look. The logo's links were even closer together and new colors were incorporated into the communication, while orange was retained as the main color. In addition, a new exclusive typography, GOL Sans, was created, which has a simple, human and intelligent design.
