How to Check In
Find out which option is best for you to check in.
There's always a practical and easy way to check in with GOL. You can do it from wherever you are through our website or app, or, if you prefer, use our self-service kiosks located at the airports.
If you don't want to use digital channels, you can also go to the check-in counter to check in with our Eagle Team, composed of GOL employees always ready to assist you.

It's very important to pay attention to the check-in period, as there may be some variations depending on the chosen channel.
Check-in via app, website, or kiosk
- Domestic and international flights: check-in is available from 48 hours before the flight and ends 1 hour before it;
- Flights to the United States operated by GOL: check-in is available from 24 hours before the flight and ends 1 hour before it.
Check-in at the service counter
- Domestic and international flights: check-in is available from 3 hours before the flight and ends 1 hour before it;
- Flights to the United States operated by GOL: check-in is available from 3 hours before the flight and ends 1 hour before it.

How long before my flight should I arrive at the airport?
Airport check-in is available starting 3 (three) hours before your flight and ends 1 (one) hour before departure. If you need to check baggage, we recommend arriving at least 3 (three) hours before your flight to avoid queues and crowds. Remember that check-in and baggage drop-off at the airport ends 1 (one) hour before your flight.
Important: Even if you need to check baggage, you can check in in advance to expedite your trip. Learn about GOL's express baggage service.
Cases where it is not possible to check in through GOL's digital channels.
There are some scenarios where check-in via GOL's digital channels is not permitted:
- Trips on routes where additional processes may be required for security reasons;
- Trips on routes where document control and additional requirements related to Covid-19 may be necessary;
- Trips that may include a service request for a person with a disability.
