Understand how it works

Now, you embark once again, but this time toward the final destination of your journey.
You can fly with a stopover on only one leg of your trip.
Therefore, pay attention when making your reservation. Check the following:
- Search for your flight and click on the Stopover option.
- Choose whether you want to make the stop on the outbound or return leg of the journey.
- Then, simply select the dates and airports of origin, destination, and stopover point.
It's important to know
Learn about other rules
You must collect your checked baggage at the stopover point and, after the stopover period, check it in again when you re-board. Furthermore, if you wish to purchase additional baggage, you must purchase the additional bag(s) separately for each leg of the journey involving the stopover.
The fee is applied individually for each leg of the stopover. This is because you will be using the airport's departure services to reach the city where you will be making the stopover, and you will use those same services again when re-boarding at that same airport for your final destination.
For domestic trips within Brazil, stopovers in Brasília or Rio de Janeiro must last between 8 hours and 3 nights, while stopovers in São Paulo must be between 8 hours and 5 nights.
For international trips, stopovers in Brasília or Rio de Janeiro must be between 24 hours and 3 nights, and in São Paulo, between 24 hours and 5 nights.
