Age
Hiring an escort service is mandatory for children and teenagers aged 8 to 16 years old. GOL does not transport unaccompanied minors under 8 years of age.
Documents for domestic flights
If you are a parent or legal guardian of a minor between the ages of 8 and 16 who needs to travel domestically unaccompanied by air, please provide the necessary documents for boarding. The minor must travel with:
• Authorization from either parent or legal guardian, through a public deed or private document with notarized signature. Alternatively, authorization from the Juvenile Court or a valid passport expressly authorizing the minor to travel unaccompanied abroad may be presented (authorization also valid for domestic travel – CNJ Resolution 295);¹
• Valid personal identification document, such as a passport, Identity Card (RG), or Birth Certificate;²
• Completed Unaccompanied Minor Travel Authorization Form in triplicate.

*¹If the parental/legal guardian authorization does not specify an expiration date, consider two years from the date of issue.
*²The identity card and birth certificate can be either originals or certified copies. The birth certificate is intended for children up to 12 years of age (not yet 12).
Follow-up
The assistance ensures that customers using the service will be accompanied at all stages of their trip, including in cases of flight delays. The minor is under constant supervision by the airport and cabin crew, but the accompaniment is not exclusive. At boarding time, they are greeted and escorted to the aircraft. On the plane, they are accommodated and remain under the responsibility of the cabin chief. Upon arrival at the destination, a member of the GOL Airport team accompanies our customer to a designated person at the arrival airport.
Documents for international flights
Children and adolescents aged 8 to 18 years old can travel unaccompanied to other countries with:
• Valid personal identification document, such as a Passport or Identity Card (only for MERCOSUR countries);
• Authorization in duplicate from both parents or legal guardians, with a photo of the child (optional), validity period³ and signature authenticated by authenticity or similarity. A court authorization (mandatory in duplicate) or a valid passport containing, on the identification page, authorization for unaccompanied international travel may also be presented;
• Unaccompanied Minor Travel Authorization Protocol completed in triplicate.

It is important to know:
- The "Fly Along" service is mandatory for passengers aged 8 to 16 years old, and optional for customers over 16 years old. It does not replace passengers who, by legal or medical determination, require accompaniment.
- GOL employees will be responsible for accompanying the passenger to the aircraft. During the flight, the passenger will be under the responsibility of the cabin chief.
- Upon arrival at the airport, a member of the GOL team will greet the passenger and take them to the responsible adult.
- GOL does not transport unaccompanied children under 8 years old.
- The service is not available for booking on connecting and stopover flights.
- At the airport, parents or guardians must go to the GOL counter and present the necessary documentation for service.
- The adult accompanying the child or adolescent must remain at the airport until the flight departure is confirmed.
- For flights to or from Aruba and Cancun, the service is not available.

If the flight is already booked:
If the ticket for the person traveling alone is already paid for,
ensure the "Fly Together" option in the "My bookings" area to track
each stage of the trip.
Other options:
If you prefer, the service can also be contracted directly at the GOL service counter at the airport. Check the rules for transporting passengers with special medical conditions such as those who have recently undergone surgery, those with physical or intellectual disabilities, or in any circumstance that requires accompaniment during the flight.

- The Fly Along Assistance service is available to customers who have purchased the assistance service. Purchase is mandatory for customers between 8 and 16 years of age.
- In case of any operational irregularity, such as flight cancellations or delays, that may impact the customer's trip, GOL will contact the person indicated at the time of acceptance to determine the best accommodation for the customer. If a flight change is necessary, our team will provide all necessary support and accompany the customer until the end of the trip.
- Questions and suggestions about the service are received by the GOL Customer Relations Center.
- This service does not replace passengers who, by legal or medical determination, require assistance.
- The purchase of this service does not replace any documents required by the Company for boarding authorization.
- GOL employees are responsible for accompanying the passenger to the aircraft. During the flight, the passenger is under the responsibility of the cabin chief. Upon arrival, a member of the GOL airport team will greet them and take them to a designated person. The escort is not provided by a dedicated or exclusive employee.
- For flights to or from Aruba, Cancun, and Caracas, the service is not available.
