Terms and Conditions – GOL Complimentary Ticket
This benefit is offered by the Smiles Program, which is administered by GOL LINHAS AÉREAS S.A., the successor by merger of SMILES FIDELIDADE S.A. (CNPJ/MF 05.730.375/0001-20)—a corporation duly incorporated in the country, registered with the CNPJ/MF under No. 07.575.651/0037-60, with its headquarters at Alameda Rio Negro, No. 585, Padauiri Building, Block B, 2nd floor, units 21 and 22 – Part A, Alphaville, Zip Code 06454-000, in the City of Barueri, State of São Paulo—hereinafter referred to simply as “GOL”.
I - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. A Smiles Program Participant residing and domiciled in Brazil, holding a valid CPF (Individual Taxpayer Registry number) and belonging to the Diamond category, who—starting September 1, 2025—reaches a balance of 26,000 (twenty-six thousand) Qualifying Miles or 26 (twenty-six) Qualifying Segments (the “Participant”), shall receive 1 (one) complimentary round-trip and/or one-way airline ticket for a companion to use within a period of 12 (twelve) months from the date of issuance. This ticket allows the companion to fly with GOL to any destination in Brazil (except Fernando de Noronha) and on international segments available within GOL’s route network (excluding the United States and Europe), provided that the companion is listed on the same booking reference (PNR) as the Participant, in accordance with the rules set forth below.
1.1. A DIAMOND CUSTOMER is any customer registered in the Smiles Program who has achieved Diamond status by accumulating at least 24,000 (twenty-four thousand) Qualifying Miles and/or by flying at least 24 (twenty-four) Qualifying Segments with GOL or eligible airline partners during the calendar year (January to December).
1.2. The DIAMOND CUSTOMER’S COMPANION is the traveler who takes a trip with the same origin, destination, time, and flight number, and who is included in the SAME BOOKING REFERENCE (or “reservation code”) as a DIAMOND CUSTOMER. The companion may be any person aged 2 (two) years or older. Infants under the age of 2 (two) are not permitted as free companions under this benefit.
2. Starting September 1, 2025, to be eligible for the benefit of issuing a GOL Courtesy Ticket for a companion, the Participant must hold active Diamond status at the time of ticket issuance and must have reached a balance of 26,000 (twenty-six thousand) Qualifying Miles or 26 (twenty-six) Qualifying Segments.
2.1. The new rules do not apply to a Participant who already holds Diamond tier status by August 31, 2025—meaning they have accumulated at least 24,000 (twenty-four thousand) Qualifying Miles and/or flown at least 24 (twenty-four) Qualifying Segments by that date, and have subscribed to Clube Smiles 20,000 by August 31, 2025—since they will have already received the benefit for the year 2025 and may use it until December 31, 2025, subject to the rules in effect up to that date.
2.1.1. A Participant meeting the condition in item 2.1. will only be eligible to receive the next allotment starting in 2026, and provided they reach a balance of 26,000 (twenty-six thousand) Qualifying Miles or 26 (twenty-six) Qualifying Segments.
2.2. To issue the ticket, the Participant must be logged into the website www.voegol.com.br and be one of the paying passengers on the reservation.
2.3. The GOL Complimentary Ticket must be issued within a period of 12 (twelve) months from the date it is granted. If the GOL Complimentary Ticket is not issued within this period, the allotment will be considered expired.
2.3.1. Allotments are non-cumulative. Thus, upon the turn of the year, a customer who has already received an allotment and once again reaches a balance of 26,000 (twenty-six thousand) Qualifying Miles or 26 (twenty-six) Qualifying Segments will lose the previous allotment if they have not issued the GOL Complimentary Ticket by the date the new benefit is received. If the previous benefit has already been used, the new GOL Complimentary Ticket will be granted as usual.
2.4. The benefit may only be used for flights with GOL to any destination in Brazil (except Fernando de Noronha) and for international segments available within GOL’s route network (excluding the United States and Europe). The benefit cannot be used for: (i) GOL flights purchased with Smiles Miles; (ii) flights operated by GOL partner airlines, even if sold through GOL channels; and (iii) the issuance of tickets for international flights during Brazilian national holidays or dates adjacent to them. The restricted period will generally cover the two business days prior to and one business day after the holiday, subject to adjustment based on the specific calendar or operational requirements.
2.5. The benefit may not be used for multi-segment tickets or for booking Premium Economy fares.
3. The GOL Complimentary Ticket is limited to just 1 (one) companion traveling with the Participant. When the Participant travels with additional people, the other companions must purchase their tickets normally, issuing them in one or more separate reservations.
4. Issuance of the GOL Complimentary Ticket is contingent upon full payment of the reservation, covering the total cost of tickets, fees, and additional services. Until full payment is confirmed, the reservation status will remain "On hold."
5. The ticket using this benefit must be issued at least 7 (seven) days prior to the intended flight date; it does not entitle the passenger to free baggage allowance, unless the selected fare permits it.
6. The benefit quota is considered used upon ticket issuance, not on the flight date. Even if the Participant does not fly within the 12-month period, the ticket will have been issued, and the quota will not be returned to their Smiles account.
6.1. Issuance for the outbound and return flights must take place simultaneously; the Participant cannot issue the complimentary ticket for the outbound flight separately from the return flight, as the system will consider the quota consumed upon issuance of the outbound ticket.
7. Fare rules for paid tickets must be fully satisfied, including applicable benefits and fees for changes, rescheduling, and cancellations. The complimentary offer for the companion covers only the ticket fare; it does not exempt travelers—including the companion benefiting from the GOL Complimentary Ticket—from paying airport taxes and fees for contracted additional services.
8. Voluntary flight changes are defined as any modification to the ticket made at the request or discretion of any passenger on the reservation. Voluntary changes that cancel the reservation or separate the Participant from the companion receiving the complimentary ticket will result in the cancellation of the GOL Complimentary Ticket and the consumption of the issuance quota.
8.1. In the event of a voluntary flight change (time, date, or location), both the Participant and the companion benefiting from the GOL Complimentary Ticket must be moved simultaneously to the same flight to avoid reservation cancellation. In this case, additional fees will be charged in accordance with the fare rules applicable to paying passengers. The GOL Complimentary Ticket does not cover rebooking fees for this change.
8.2. In the event of a voluntary ticket cancellation, paid tickets will be subject to applicable fare rules. However, the GOL Complimentary Ticket will be cancelled, and the benefit quota will be considered used.
9. In cases of no-show—where the Participant and/or the companion benefiting from the GOL Complimentary Ticket fail to arrive in time for boarding—the GOL Complimentary Ticket will be cancelled, and the benefit quota will be considered used.
9.1. The Participant's ticket will be subject to applicable fare rules. If the Participant wishes to retain the return flight, it will be preserved, provided GOL is notified by the date of the flight.
10. Flight rescheduling to an earlier time is permitted, subject to fare rules or current Diamond tier benefits; however, this must be done simultaneously for both the Participant and the companion benefiting from the GOL Complimentary Ticket via GOL self-service channels to avoid splitting the reservation. If the reservations are split, the GOL Courtesy Ticket will no longer be valid; it will be cancelled and the quota considered used, with no possibility of re-issuance.
11. Involuntary flight changes are defined as any modification to the ticket caused by operational contingencies—whether related to network planning or airport operations—and will be treated as exceptions. In such cases, to ensure optimal accommodation, the Participant and the companion benefiting from the GOL Courtesy Ticket may, exceptionally, travel on the same flight or on different flights without incurring additional charges or losing the benefit.
11.1. In the event of an involuntary flight change (time, date, or location), the Participant and the companion benefiting from the GOL Courtesy Ticket must be moved to the same flight simultaneously to avoid cancellation of the reservation. In this instance, the Participant may choose to change to the originally purchased origin and destination or to another route eligible for the benefit, provided the change takes place within the validity period of their quota.
11.2. In this scenario, a Participant who does not wish to change flights and opts for cancellation acknowledges that they will lose the quota if they do not make another booking within the current validity period.
12. If the companion benefiting from the GOL Courtesy Ticket is a member of the Smiles Program, the courtesy flight will not count toward the accumulation of Qualifying Miles or Qualifying Segments for tier upgrades.
13. GOL reserves the right to alter, suspend, or even terminate the benefit at any time, subject to prior notice.
14. Should GOL identify, at any time, the Participant's ineligibility or any irregularity committed by the Participant—including proven fraud—GOL may:
(i) suspend or cancel the Smiles account and exclude the Participant (including a Participant ineligible for the benefit who acted irregularly or fraudulently) from the Smiles Program, either temporarily or permanently; (ii) reverse Smiles Miles obtained irregularly—including those obtained through fraud—from the Smiles account of the Participant (including a Participant ineligible for the benefit); and/or (iii) cancel all transactions carried out using Smiles Miles derived from Smiles Program Tier benefits that were obtained irregularly or through fraud, including, but not limited to, the cancellation of award redemption transactions.
15. In the event of Participant ineligibility, proven fraud, or violation of these Regulations, the Participant shall be automatically excluded from the Smiles Program and may also be held civilly and criminally liable for damages caused; Brazilian law applies exclusively to these Regulations.
16. Any tolerance, omission, or leniency on the part of GOL shall not imply a waiver or modification of the conditions expressly set forth in these Regulations.
17. These Regulations do not involve any element of chance and are, therefore, not subject to the prior authorization established in Article 1 of Law No. 5.768/71.
