The international baggage allowance will be honored by GOL only for flights issued on the same locator (e-ticket). For flights issued leg by leg (purchased separately), even with a partner company, the international baggage allowance will not be honored. In this case, the allowance for the segment purchased will apply. It is not possible to purchase checked baggage in advance through digital channels. The purchase must be made directly at the counter of the airline operating the selected flight.
Paying for overweight baggage If you have overweight baggage, you can pay for it at the check-in.
Fragile items Fragile items are accepted as long as they are properly packed. However, if the product is damaged for any reason, the company is not responsible for reimbursing you. Check out the airline contract to learn more.
Perishable items are not accepted. For more information, please contact the consular or customs offices of the destination and transit countries.
If the infant is traveling in a separate (reserved) seat, the infant has the same checked baggage allowance as an adult. If they are traveling on the lap, you can check:

Baggage Claim
Your baggage tags must indicate your final destination. If the passenger is coming from an international origin to a destination in Brazil, in case of connecting passengers, the baggage must be claimed at the first stop in the country (Brazil). After the obligatory customs procedures, the customer must go to the GOL counter to reclaim the baggage. If the passenger has a connection in Europe, the baggage must be collected at the first stop in the destination country. After the mandatory customs procedures, the customer must go to the counter of the company operating the next flight to check in the baggage again.
In case of lost baggage, the last airline that transported the passenger is responsible for registering and monitoring the status of the baggage. If the baggage is lost during the connection between international flights and domestic GOL flights, the customer must file a claim with the airline that transported the baggage on the previous leg of the journey.
In the event of such an incident, the customer must contact the last carrier to file a baggage claim. If such damage is found from an international flight to a domestic GOL flight, the procedure should be opened with the carrier of the first leg.
One piece of carry-on baggage is allowed, not to exceed 55 cm in height, 40 cm in width and 25 cm in length, including pockets, wheels and handles, and not to exceed a total weight of 10 kg.
All electronics must be carried as carry-on items.
Laptops, cameras, cell phones, camcorders and tablets must be screened through the airport's X-ray machine at the entrance to the departure lounge.
Valuables such as jewelry and cash must also be carried as carry-on items.
The following items are not allowed in carry-on baggage: bladed weapons, firearms, cartridges and ammunition for firearms, printer cartridges, bottles containing more than 100 ml of liquid, fuels, batteries with electrolytes, lithium batteries with a capacity of more than 160 Wh, fireworks, bombs, paints, chemicals and mercury thermometers.
In order to request special services, contact the call center of the airline operating the segment of travel. Please note: Some services may not be available on flights operated in partnership with another airline.
Requests for assistance for passengers with special needs must be made at the time of booking or at least 72 hours prior to departure. For flights originating in Brazil, requests for special assistance, such as wheelchairs, may be made at least 48 hours prior to departure.
Minors under 16 years of age cannot travel unaccompanied.
Infants up to 1 year and 11 months of age pay up to 10% of the adult fare, but must travel on the lap of a responsible adult over 18 years of age. Only one infant is permitted per customer.

In the certificate, the doctor must authorize your travel in writing, taking into account the destination and duration of your trip. At check-in, you will be asked to complete a form.
Live animals are not permitted on GOL and Air France flights, with the exception of guide dogs.

For trips where the first segment is operated by GOL, check-in can be done at the GOL counter at the airport, through our website www.voegol.com.br, APP or kiosk/totem. If the first segment is operated by Air France, check-in can be done at the Air France counter or through the partner's website.
Remember that you must be in possession of valid travel documents*, such as a valid passport, visas and vaccinations, if applicable.
*Documentation (including visas and vaccinations) is the responsibility of the passenger. We recommend that you check with the embassies of your destination countries to avoid any hassle.
Please note: Your boarding pass must include all segments of your itinerary. Also, you only need to check your baggage once and we will transfer it between flights. However, it is necessary to check the customs procedures of each destination country and remember that baggage policies can vary between airlines, so check them before you travel.

Seats on GOL flights must be booked through the GOL website and/or customer service center: www.voegol.com.br/atendimento/telefones. Seats on Air France flights must be booked through the Air France website. For more details: www.airfrance.com.br Please note: You may also choose your seat on GOL flights at check-in on the day of departure.
If you do not show up for boarding (no-show) on any of the flights (GOL or Partner), please contact your ticket issuer for a refund or rebooking.
