Don't forget that you need to present the documentation* required for your trip, such as a valid passport, visas, and proof of vaccination.
To check baggage, go to the customer service counters of the airline operating the first segment of your trip. Remember that you can accrue miles through the Smiles Program. Simply provide your Smiles number at check-in.
*Passengers are responsible for all documentation, including documents pertaining to visas and vaccinations. We suggest passengers consult the embassies of their destination countries to avoid any inconveniences related to documentation.
Contact the customer service center of the airline operating the first segment of your trip to request special services.
You can choose your seat during the check-in process with the partner airline on the date of your flight. If you are connecting to a partner airline flight, you will receive a boarding pass with a randomly assigned seat.
The allowance below applies:
• Light fare: does not include checked baggage
• Plus fare: 1 bag up to 23 kg
• Max fare: 1 bag up to 23 kg
• Business Class: 2 bags up to 32 kg each

The international baggage policy is observed by GOL only on flights issued with the same locator/reservation code (e-ticket) as the international flight. The international baggage allowance will not be honored for tickets purchased separately, even if they are issued by a partner airline. In such cases, the baggage rules for the segment purchased apply.
Checked baggage fees for this flight cannot be paid in advance via digital channels. Payment should be made directly at the service counter of the airline operating the flight.
Passengers who have excess baggage may pay the excess baggage fees when checking their baggage at a check-in counter.

Passengers are allowed to check 1 baby stroller (for personal use) and/or 1 child seat free of charge.
Checked baggage on flights with partner airlines must be claimed at the final destination. When a passenger traveling to Brazil from Europe is making a connection, the checked baggage must be claimed at the first destination in Brazil. After going through the mandatory customs procedures, the passenger must go to a GOL counter to check their baggage again.
In the event of lost baggage, the company responsible for registering the incident and following up on the status of the baggage is the last airline to have transported the passenger. If it is determined that the baggage was lost during a connection between an international flight and a domestic GOL flight, the passenger must file a lost baggage claim with the company that transported the baggage during the previous segment.
In the event baggage is damaged, the passenger must file a complaint with the last airline to transport the baggage. If it is determined that the baggage was damaged during a connection between an international flight and a domestic GOL flight, the passenger must file a complaint with the airline that transported the baggage in the first segment.
Passengers are entitled to one carry-on bag whose dimensions may not exceed 55 cm (22 in) in height, 40 cm (16 in) in width and 25 cm (10 in) in length, including pockets, wheels and handles. The bag must not weigh more than 10 kg (22 lbs).
All electronics must be transported as carry-on baggage. Laptops, cameras, cell phones, camcorders and tablets must go through the x-ray machine at the security checkpoint at the boarding area. For this reason, these items must travel with you.
Valuable objects like jewelry and cash must also be transported in carry-on baggage.
