When is check in available?

It is very important to be aware of the period in which you can check in, as depending on the chosen channel there may be some variations:

Check-in through the GOL app or website

  • National and international flights: check in available from 48 hours to 1 hour before the flight.
     
  • Flights to / from the United States operated by GOL: check in available from 24 hours to 1 hour before the flight.



Totem or airport service desk

  • National and international flights: check in available from 3 hours to 1 hour before the flight.
     
  • Flights to / from the United States operated by GOL: check in available from 3 hours to 1 hour before the flight.

How far in advance should you arrive at the airport

Airport check in service is available between 3 hours and 1 hour before the flight. If you need to check baggage, we recommend early arrival to avoid queues and crowds.

Understand your boarding pass information

To check in it is very important to know your locator number. This information is sent to your email and is also available on the GOL app or website (in the "My reservations" area). Find out where the locator is on your boarding pass and take the opportunity to learn about other available information.

1. Locator

Also known as reservation code, the locator is composed ofletters and numbers and identifies your ticket purchase. This code is essential for you to check-in, so please write down or print the receipt sent to your email so that you always have it at hand. You will also be able to easily access your locator through our app or website.

2. Personal data

Your ticket is nominal and non-transferable. You must present your boarding pass along with a personal photo ID.

3. Flight data

Identification of flight number, boarding gate and seat chosen at check-in.

4. Origin and destiny

Aircraft take-off and landing locations and times.

5. Boarding time

This is the time you must show up at the departure gate.

6. Bar code

It concentrates the information on the boarding pass for the electronic control carried out by the airport operator. It is used to ensure the necessary security when identifying the customer and giving him access to the departure lounge and the aircraft
