Upon arrival at the airport, look for the counter of the company responsible for operating the first leg of the trip. Check-in for flights operated between GOL and Air France can be done through GOL's digital channels, provided that GOL is the first operator of the itinerary. Remember that you need to have valid documentation* for the trip, such as a valid passport, visas and vaccinations.
To check your baggage, you must go to the counters of the first operator. Remember that you can earn miles through the Smiles Program, just inform your Smiles number when checking in. *The passenger is accountable for the documentation (including visa and vaccines). In order to avoid any setbacks, we suggest you to consult the embassies of the destination countries.
To request special services, contact the Customer Service of the airline responsible for operating the first leg of the trip.
Seat assignment
Seat assignment will be available on the day of departure directly with the partner airline which the customer is flying at the check-in. If the flight is connecting with the partner airline, the customer will receive the second boarding pass with a randomly assigned seat.
The allowance below applies for round trip flights which are departing from South America:

• Max Rate: 1 piece of baggage up to 23 kg
• Premium Economy: 2 bags of up to 23 kg each

In this case, the deductible for the purchased segment applies.
It is not possible to purchase checked-in baggage in advance on the digital channels. The purchase must be made directly at the counter of the company that operates the selected flight.

Baggage Claim
Baggage collection on partner flights must be done at the final destination. When the passenger comes from Europe to a destination in Brazil, in the case of connecting passengers, the baggage must be picked up at the first stop in the country (Brazil). After completing the mandatory customs procedures, the customer must go to the GOL counter to check in the baggage again.
For cases of lost baggage, the last airline to transport the passenger is responsible for registering and monitoring the process status of the baggage. If lost baggage is identified when connecting international flights to GOL's domestic flights, the customer must open the baggage process with the company that transported the previous leg
In case of damaged baggage, the customer must contact the last carrier to open a baggage process. If the damage is found from an international flight to a domestic GOL flight, the process must be opened with the carrier of the first segment.
