Bolívia (VVI)

Exams

  • Negative RT-PCR test result done within 72 hours prior to boarding to the first destination. It does not apply to passengers under 5 years of age.

Quarantine/observations

  • Passengers who do not have the return ticket are subjected to immigration rejection;
     
  • To the passengers who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19, it is applied a 14-day quarantine before the arrival, they are subjected to be tested 72 hours after the arrival with the costs covered by the own passenger and self-isolation until the test results are ready.

Brazil (BRA)

Opened borders, with conditions:

1. Filled DSV form

Mandatory presentation, printed or digital, of the proof of Declaração de Saúde do Viajante (Traveller’s Health Declaration) (DSV). Boarding will be allowed for those who only present negative PCR test result and/or vaccination card, the DSV is mandatory documentation for entry into Brazil for either Brazilians and residents, or for foreigners.

2. Negative test result for COVID-19 

Presentation of antigen test or RT-PCR, carried out within 24 hours prior to boarding, with a negative or non-detectable result, provided that the Customer does not have the vaccine cycle applied in full. Only in this case will the test be required.


3. Proof of Vaccination

The presentation of the printed or electronic proof of vaccination is mandatory, and the application of the last dose or single dose must have occurred at least 14 days before the date of departure.

Vaccines approved by the National Health Surveillance Agency, the World Health Organization (WHO) or the authority of the country in which the traveler was immunized are valid;

*Documents issued abroad must be presented in Portuguese, Spanish or English.

Notice: It is also important to clarify that, according to the National Plan for the Operationalization of Vaccination against Covid-19 - PNO, the population over 5 years old is considered eligible due to age for vaccination in Brazil.

According to the Ministerial Ordinance No. 666, from January the 20th, 2022, the travellers who are eligible to present proof of vaccination according to age are travellers over 18 years of age and:
a) Brazilians and foreigners residing in the country aged over 5 years, except for those who are returning on a trip started at least thirty days ago;
b) Foreigners over 5 years of age from countries that have already started vaccinating children;
c) In the case of resident and non-resident Brazilians and foreigners, over 5 years of age and under 18 years of age traveling internationally accompanied by a responsible person who does not present proof of vaccination, they must undergo quarantine.

The following cases do NOT need to present proof of vaccination, BUT must stay in quarantine, as well as are obligated to present a negative or non-detectable test result against COVID-19: 

1. People with a health condition that contraindicates vaccination, as long as it is attested by a medical report;

2. People not eligible for vaccination based on age, according to the criterion defined by Ministério da Saude (Health Ministry) in the Plano Nacional de Operacionalização da Vacinação contra a Covid-19 (National Plan for the Operationalization of Vaccination against Covid-19) and published on the Health Ministry website.

3. Due to humanitarian issues, as provided on art. 18 of Ordinanace 663/2021 which defines the rules for entry in Brazil.

4. Travellers from countries with low vaccination coverage are considered exempt from presenting proof of vaccination, regardless of having passed through another country, whose presentation of proof of vaccination is required, before entering Brazil by air. 5. Brazilians and resident foreigners in Brazilian territory, who are not fully vaccinated.


Quarantine

Passengers arriving from Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho, Nambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa are subject to quarantine for 14 days.

Quarantine is mandatory for travellers who do not need to present the proof of vaccination.

The quarantine will be for fourteen days, in the city of the traveller’s final destination and at the address registered in the Declaração de Saúde do Viajante (Traveller’s Health Declaration) – DSV.

The quarantine can be ended with a negative result of RT-PCR or an antigen test performed on a sample collected from the fifth day after the beginning of the quarantine, as long as the traveller is asymptomatic.

Buenos Aires (AEP)

Documents and forms

  • Valid official identification document;
     
  • Possessing a travel insurance which covers COVID (this rule is not applied for residents and/or Argentine citizens) 
     
  • Filling in the affidavit of admission through the link: https://ddjj.migraciones.gob.ar/app (this rule does not apply for people older than 70 years of age who will fill the form in the arrival).

Exams

  • Only the vaccination cycle carried out 14 days before entering the country is required.
     
  • Clients with the vaccination cycle uncompleted* must have the RT-RCR test issued 72 hours in advance to the first boarding point or antigen test issued 48 hours prior to boarding. The test must be paid by the person entering the country.
     
  • Passengers are subject to a COVID antigen test on landing (this rule does not apply to passengers who have a complete vaccination certificate)
     
  • The exam does not apply to travellers who have had COVID-19 within 90 days before boarding or arrival in the country, they must present the detectable RT-PCR test result within this period, as well as the medical documentation proving the hospital discharge in up to 10 days after the positive test.
     
  • The exam does not apply to travellers who have medical report issued in up to 72 hours before departure, indicating the lack of symptoms, for territories with no laboratories for issuing RT-PCR or PCR tests.     *Complete vaccination cycle is understood to be the rules established by the Client's country of residence for the number of minimum doses.

Quarantine/observations

  • Passengers are subjected to a 07 days quarantine (this rule does not apply for passengers who possess the complete vaccination certification).

Cancún (CUN)

Documents and forms

  • Valid Passport
     
  • Printed ELETRONIC VISA, to be issued 24 hours in advance of the flight. Form available on the link: Instituto Nacional de Migración Notice: Fill in all the personal details, which must be identical to the those in the passport. 
     
  • Multiple Immigration Form

    (FMM): https://www.inm.gob.mx/fmme/publico/solicitud.html.  
    Orientations: Personal procedure (Including children and infants); We advise the filling of the form since the origin. Print to copies; Both will be validated by the immigration official at the arrival, one will stay with the official, and the other will be given back to the passenger, and it must be present for the return flight. In case of loss, the visitor must contact the immigration service to obtain a replacement and will pay a fine, which will be paid only in cash and in Mexican pesos.

    Customs: Fill in the Identification Details. Orientations: Personal procedure or one per family, from direct relatives (parents and children); It is required to be printed; The declaration is mandatory if the passenger carries objects to declare at CUSTOMS, or an amount of money greater than 10,000.00 USD, otherwise it will be understood as a violation. If the passenger has nothing to declare, a tick at the “Ninguno” option is necessary when filling out the form; The Customs portal is a useful and practical guide to prepare yourself with what you are allowed to enter free of charge and automatically calculates the fees to pay when bringing items that have taxes and will vary depending on the item you bring, only payments with a credit card are accepted. 
     
  • It is mandatory to present the return ticket at the time of check-in and immigration.

Exams

  • Exams are not required to enter Cancún

Cancún Exit

  • Visitax: Every foreigner must make a benefit payment for the use of public domain assets and benefits derived from the exercise of public law functions of the State of Quintana Roo. Payment can be made through the link www.visitax.gob.mx/sitio/ before entering, upon entering, during the stay or before leaving the State. The SATQ will issue a receipt, containing the following data: full name, date of departure from the State, Passport Number, age. People under 15 years of age, working crew and Mexican passengers are exempt from payment.
     
  • Customs: Declaration of passengers traveling with cash in excess of 10,000.00 USD.

United States (MIA/MCO)

  • It is necessary to present a proof of vaccination against COVID-19 with all doses applied in the last 15 days, being the day of vaccination + 14 days before arrival in the country. The passenger details on the certificate must match those on the passport.
     
  • The combination of vaccines is allowed as long as they are at least 17 days apart. More information at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/international-travel-during-covid19.html
     
  • These rules are not valid for minors under 18 years of age, who have a medical letter informing them of the impossibility of vaccination for medical reasons, or authorization by US government agencies.
     
  • Passengers must have an Antigen, NAAT, RT-LAMP, RT-PCR or TMA test taken no later than 1 day prior to departure from the first boarding point. This does not apply to children under 2 years of age, those who have a positive test issued within 90 days of departure or a letter issued by a health agency stating that the passenger has been cleared to travel.
     
  • Passengers must print and fill the attestation forms before the departure by accessing the documents below:
  • Passengers are subject to self-isolation or self-quarantine, as long as they are not properly vaccinated within the above rules.
     
  • Passengers are subject to the measures of the state/territory of their destination.
Montevidéu (MVD)

Exams

  • Proof of vaccination with the complete cycle, and the last dose applied between 9 months and 14 days before arrival in the country. This does not apply to passengers under the age of 18, or who have a positive PCR or antigen test for COVID-19 issued between 10 and 90 days prior to arrival in the country;
     
  • If you are not fully vaccinated, you must present a RT-PCR test result or negative antigen test within 72 hours of boarding. This does not apply to Customers under 6 years old, who have a letter from the Uruguayan Consulate releasing the test or who have a positive PCR or antigen COVID test issued between 10 and 90 days before arrival in the country.
     
  • Passengers must have health insurance for additional COVID-19 expenses.

Are allowed to enter Uruguay::

  • Foreigners who received two doses or a single dose of the vaccine within the last nine months, meeting the deadline to achieve immunity, which is 14 days after the last dose or who have a positive PCR-type COVID test or antigen issued between 10 and 90 days before arrival in the country;
     
  • Foreign citizens under 18 years of age (in this case, vaccination is not required, since not all countries vaccinate minors).

Quarantine/observations

  • Passengers are subjected to quarantine for 14 days, except those who are fully vaccinated or present positive test result within the rules described above.
Paraguai (ASU)

Documents and forms 

  • Passengers must complete the “Traveller’s Health Information” within 24 hours prior to landing, on the website WEB D.G.V.S.
     
  • A QR code will be generated which must be presented after landing. This does not apply to passengers under the age of 12. 
     
  • Passengers must present the proof of vaccination with all the doses applied with at least 14 days before the arrival in the country. This does not apply to passengers under the age of 18 and those who have a medical certificate proving the impossibility of vaccination. 
     
  • Proof of vaccination against the Yellow Fever. 

Exams

  • Passengers must carry negative LAMP, NAAT or RT-PCR tests with results issued 48 hours before boarding or antigen test issued 24 hours before boarding. This rule does not apply to passengers under the age of 12 or residents in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil or Uruguay;
     
  • It does not apply to passengers who had a positive test result issued between 90 and 14 days before landing. The type of tests which can be done are: antigen, LAMP, NAAT and RT-PCR;

These rules do not apply to Brazilian nationals and residents landing from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil or Uruguay.

Paramaribo (PMB)

Exams/proof 

  • Passengers arriving in Suriname must have a complete vaccination schedule more than 14 days prior to arrival in the country. They must present the negative RT-PCR test result 48 hours prior to the boarding. 
     
  • Proof of vaccination Against the yellow fever with at least 10 prior to the arrival in the country.
     
  • After 3 days in Suriname, the passenger must do the antigen test at one of the official testing sites of the Health Ministry:

- The Bureau of Public Health Surinam
- MeDiLab
- My Lab
- The Academic Hospital
- Health Control

The test result must be presented as proof when leaving Paramaribo – Suriname. In case the test is not done, the passenger will be fined EUR 100 or USD100 or the equivalent in Suriname Dollar in order to leave the country.

Punta Cana (PUJ)

Requirements

  • Presentation of negative PCR performed within 72 hours of departure and entry into the country or COVID-19 vaccination certificate proving that they were fully vaccinated at least three weeks prior to arrival.
     
  • Yellow fever vaccination receipt issued at least 10 days prior to arrival.
     
  • Children under seven years of age are exempt from taking the PCR test.
