GOL shares the suffering of Joca's guardian and his family. We are deeply in sympathy with their pain and sorrow for the loss of their pet. The dog should have been flown from Guarulhos (GRU) to Sinop (OPS) on flight G3 1480 on 22/04/2024, but due to an operational error, Joca was taken on a flight to Fortaleza (FOR).  As soon as the guardian arrived in Sinop, he was informed of what had happened and his choice was to return to Guarulhos (GRU) to be reunited with his pet.

Beginning September 12, 2023, children between the ages of 2 and 12 will pay the same adult fare on Gol flights as an adult on Gol flights. If tickets purchased before this date are reissued, the new fare conditions will apply. There may be a fare difference because the new fare is higher or lower, but the new fare will no longer apply the child discount. The 100% discount for infants from 0 to 2 years of age traveling in the lap on domestic Gol flights or 90% on Gol Internacional flights remain unchanged.

GOL is aware of Anvisa's announcement, dated 08/17/22, about the end of the mandatory use of masks on flights, and will follow the guidelines of the regulatory agency according to the note published in the government official news website, “Diário Oficial The Company understands the update of the health protocol takes place at a time of widespread vaccination against Covid-19 in the country, which is positive for the resumption of air transport and aligning Brazil with other countries that already adopt the flexibility of masks use.
