Refund
When you change and have residual value to receive or cancel a flight, you can opt to request a refund. If you choose to do so, you will receive part of the amount paid for the same form of payment used.. Certain fees may be deducted from the refundable amount, such as cancelation, no-show or refund fees, as per the fare rules agreed to at the time of purchase. If the requested refund is tied to a credit, the applicable fees will be deducted.
Please be advised that some round trip fares do not allow for refunds after the first flight. But you can choose to leave this amount as credit and use it according to the conditions mentioned in the credit option.
You may request a refund at any time within 365 consecutive days, from the date of the original ticket purchase. It will be done within 7 days from the date of request, regardless of the form of payment you have used.
Please note: if you used a debit card or cash to buy your ticket, please contact us through our Customer Service Center and provide your bank account information in order to receive the refundable amount.
If you issued your ticket with Smiles miles for a GOL flight, avoid missing your flight because you could lose your miles. In the event of a no-show, your miles are no longer refundable, as of May, 2012. Contact Smiles to check the details of this rule.
