Failure to show up for boarding – No-show
Not arriving in a timely manner at check-in1 or at the boarding gate2 is considered a no-show.
When this happens, the passenger must pay a fee based on the specific fare rule. Additionally, a no-show
will result in the cancellation of all subsequent segments in the specific reservation.
In order to avoid hassles, always try to cancel those reservations you will not use in advance.
In case the passenger reschedules to a new flight, he or she will have to incur potential fare differences, if any, both as a result of price increases and a lack of availability of the same fare type for the new flight.
¹Check-in service ends 45 minutes before the departure time for domestic flights and 1 hour and 15 minutes before the departure time for international flights.
²The boarding gate stops admitting passengers 15 minutes before the departure time for all flights.
